Welcome to the Volunteer Onboarding Mandatory Training Portal!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at North York General Hospital. As one of the valued volunteers who provide service across North York General Hospital’s five sites, we would like to thank you for your generous gift of time and talent.

As part of your volunteer onboarding, all prospective volunteers are required to complete the organization’s mandatory training. After becoming an active volunteer, you will be required to complete the organization's mandatory training on an annual basis between April 1 and March 31; the Volunteer Services Office provides regular updates regarding annual mandatory training to all active volunteers.

The online training will take approximately 2 - 2.5 hours to complete and can be completed at your own pace – all in one day or over the course of several days. By clicking on the “Courses” button, you will see a list of the mandatory training courses to be completed in the respective tab of “Onboarding Course” and “Annual Course” and can begin with whichever module you choose.

All Onboarding and Annual Mandatory Training must be completed prior to attending a Volunteer General Orientation Session.
